Do Not Disturb

Walking the floor with a look that’s in your eyes
You’re talking and stalking the best of the advise that
You could give
You’re impulsive
With the tendencies of others that are very different If they
Are not yours
The Bedroom doors
That have got a don’t disturb sign, fallen to the floor

Crying in the kitchen sick of taking orders
On the bathroom lino, curling at the corners I
Saw your face
In homebase
You know you cannot hate what you can’t anticipate now
In the drawer
The First World War has a
Better happy ending and an underscore
